🚨 Republicans Attack Biden (with AI)

AI has officially entered the world of American politics.

Moments after Biden announced his reelection campaign, the RNC released a commercial depicting fake national and international crises they believe would occur after a Biden 2024 election win.

The catch? The commercial was produced 100% from AI.

This was only the beginning: Products like Midjourney and OpenAI’s DALL-E make it easy to create digital art in seconds

…and now the problem is deciphering between what’s human-made vs AI-made - and the 2024 election will see multiple ads created from AI, according to Axios

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen AI-generated photos of political leaders.

Last month, everyone thought Pope Francis was the king of style and Donald Trump had been arrested, but the photos turned out to be made from Midjourney.

šŸ”« The Future of War is Now

Have you heard of Palantir? The company’s most known for allegedly tracking down Bin Laden.

But the truth is Palantir’s one of the most secretive companies in the world, so we’re not sure if we’re more scared or excited about the recent launch of Palantir Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) - which is basically ChatGPT for war.

How does it work? AIP integrates LLMs (such as OpenAI’s GPT-4 or Google’s BERT) with private networks that have access to lots and lots of data. Just imagine what you could ask ChatGPT if it had access to all of the Pentagon’s classified documents - yeah, you got the hang of it.

In Palantir’s demo (see below), a military operator faces an issue at an eastern European border. The operator asks AIP to scout the area with a drone, and based on the footage, list potential courses of action to take - for all we know, the operator could have been operating from his toilet.

šŸŽ¤ ChatGPT Inside of a Robot

What could go wrong when you give artificial intelligence a body? Well, we’re about to find out.

Boston Dynamics sells a robotic dog called Spot that can carry around 30 lb and automatically complete tasks - such as walking around an oil facility to detect potentially hazardous leaks.

Just a few days ago, Boston Dynamics integrated OpenAI’s ChatGPT into Spot - check it out here.

What’s new? With the ChatGPT integration, Spot can now answer questions about its past and future tasks. In the video, AI expert Santiago Valdarrama tells Spot to walk backwards because its invading his personal space - Spot, grab me a beer. šŸ˜Ž

What could possibly go wrong? Well, if you’re a fan of Black Mirror, there’s already an episode on that.

Boston Dynamics isn’t the only company combining AI and robotics.

Last month, Elon Musk updated us on Tesla’s humanoid robot Optimus - which can now walk, pick up small objects, and complete simple tasks.

But less than two years ago, Optimus was nothing more than a guy walking around in a robot costume during.
